The 5th gear on on my 360H6 kept slipping out under full load.
I found a broken bearing on the primary shaft, right side.
The reason was too little play / juego de montaje / too many shims.
This example shows how to adjust the axial play.
First you must measure the length of each shaft from each surface matching the inner race of the bearing.
Then measure the available space / distance inside each gear casing half, from center gasket down to the inner bearing race. You need a straightedge / ruler and a depth gauge / sliding caliper.
Now you can calculate the total play without shims.
I stipulated that about 0,2mm play / clearance are required.
In the example I found some 3,4mm for the primary shaft, so I used a single 1,5mm shim on the right side and a couple of thin shimms adding up to 1,7mm on the left side to end up with 0,2mm play.
Repeat this procedure for the secondary shaft and the gear drum.

It's Ok. But you also should check the play between the forks and the gears.

Thanks Kingscorpion, this is mainly to help others adjusting the shim thickness.
The forks had only very little wear, I remember that from my old 348 trail

Perdona, Juan. No traduje porque llevo una semana de locos entre el trabajo y preparar la Impalada. Es simplemente un comentario sobre el modo de ajustar la arandelas de cambio.
